Advent is the season in the liturgical calendar of the Church when Christians prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ. In 2020 Advent begins on Sunday 29th November. This year when it may not be possible for faith communities to gather for Mass and services during Advent it is perhaps more important than ever to mark this special time for the children in our classes. This workshop will discuss ways to live the holy season of Advent in our school communities and classrooms as we 'wait in joyful hope'.
