This FAI Primary Playbook course is aligned with the Wellbeing/Cineáltas National Priorities. The course aims to align the modules in Football wellbeing to the Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework for Practice (2018-2023).

 

• Provide teachers with the knowledge, skills and personal attributes to be able to use football to engage children in physical activity.

• Provide teachers with resources, schemes of work and tools to use the medium of football to bring the world into the classroom and practical activities through the global game.

• Provide teachers with an understanding of Teaching Games for Understanding approach to connecting football with languages, wellness, fundamental movements, leadership and event management.

• By the end of this course the teacher will have experienced and be able to recreate inclusivity through football, using the multiple roles and responsibilities available in the game to ensure everyone can be included.
